Kate is a Registered Psychologist at SWITCH. She loves working with children, teens, and their families, as well as young adults.

Experience

Whilst completing her degree in Psychology, Kate worked with children diagnosed with Autism, which ignited her passion for working predominantly in paediatrics. Once she finished her degree, she began working as a psychologist with children and their families. Kate has experience with both assessment and intervention of Autism, ADHD, trauma-related presentations, Intellectual Disability, Anxiety, and Depression.

Kate has experience in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Additionally, she has a great understanding of the impact of our nervous system, attachment, and development on us as adults.
